"The Twist" by Hank Ballard

Singer-songwriter Boz Scaggs gave the introduction during Hank Ballard’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Scaggs quoted Ballard’s perspective on life as “all about having a good time, and feeling good, and looking fine, and having some laughs, and getting others to do the same.” Scaggs spoke of Ballard as being a “very vital, very positive, very dynamic man.”

"Take On Me" by Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen, and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy

Eighties pop classic “Take On Me” was recorded by the Norwegian band, A-ha. Keyboardist Furuholmen, known to fans as ‘Mags,’ notes the song became a hit largely due to its ground-breaking and multiple award-winning music video, directed by Steve Barron, in which the two main characters physically transition in and out of a comic book environment.
